What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not provide an option to create an account. Videos you record, app preferences, and face-filter processing are handled on your device. We do not store your camera recordings or face data on our servers as personal profiles. The app may download filter assets and trending content from our content servers, and may use remote configuration / advertising SDKs as described below.

Camera permission

The FaceWarp app requires camera access to enable features such as:

• Live face filters (3D overlays and face-warp effects).
• Recording short videos with filters applied.

This permission is only used when you grant access and use camera features. Face landmark / mesh detection runs on your device to place effects. We do not upload your face data for identity profiling.

Microphone permission

The FaceWarp app requires microphone access to enable features such as:

• Recording audio when you capture videos with sound enabled.
• Enhancing user experience through audio-related recording features.

This permission is only used when you explicitly grant access and activate a feature that requires recording. Audio is included in the video you create on your device. The app does not share your recordings with third parties for their own use.

Advertising

The Application may show ads (for example via Google AdMob). Ad partners may collect device identifiers and interaction data according to their own privacy policies. You can manage ad / tracking preferences in your device settings and, where required, via the in-app consent / privacy options screen.

Face Data

The app processes face-related data only on your device, and only after you grant Camera access and open the recording camera.

• What we process: live camera frames and geometric face landmarks (a mesh of points describing the position of facial features, not a biometric identity template). This is used solely to place live face-warp effects and 3D masks, and to record the filtered video you choose to save. We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, create a faceprint, or build a face-identity profile.
• Storage: landmarks and live camera frames exist only in device memory while the camera session is running. They are discarded when you leave the camera, when the next frame replaces them, or when the app is closed. We do not upload landmarks or live camera frames to our servers. If you save a recording, the resulting video file (which may show your face) is stored only in the app’s local storage on your device (My Files). We do not store face data on our servers.
• Sharing: we do not share face data, landmarks, or camera frames with third parties, including advertising partners (for example Google AdMob). Ads SDKs do not receive face mesh or camera frames. A saved video leaves the device only if you explicitly share it (for example the system share sheet).
• Retention and deletion: in-memory face data is not retained after the camera session ends. Saved videos remain on the device until you delete them in My Files or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes local recordings. Because we do not keep face data on our servers, there is no server-side face data to delete.
• You can deny Camera access; without it, live filters and recording that require the camera cannot run.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Policy at any time. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. You should check this page from time to time and take note of any changes.
